Philosophy and Approaches
With 20 years experience in developing eLearning, REMedia has worked with most of the major industry tools including Articulate, Captivate, Lectora and Flash and learning management systems like SumTotal, Plateau, Unison, Saba, Absorb and Blackboard. Our philosophy is to either use the client's selected eLearning platform and LMS or to recommend a complete solution if appropriate. We can offer an end-to-end solution from needs analysis to LMS deployment if requested, or can provide more targeted services, for instance storyboarding and programming of eLearning. Our strategies center around use of the ADDIE model of instructional design and performance is analyzed using a Kirkpatrick-based model.
Needs Analysis - including SME interviews, client consultation, shadowing client staff if appropriate.
Storyboarding - from either our own needs analysis or client data we create a storyboard suitable for realization by an eLearning development team
eLearning Development - working from a storyboard provided by a client or written by REMedia, we develop a complete eLearning solution with alpha, beta and final drafts for client approval.
LMS compatibility testing - we test eLearning for general AICC or SCORM compatibility, and can work with specific LMS systems, for example SumTotal or Saba as requested by the specific client.
